248voted no/ 175

It takes 175 no votes to defeat the proposal.

If more than half of the members of the Riksdag vote against the proposal, it is rejected. Otherwise it is approved.

The line is 175 of 349. Absent members and those who abstain are not counted as no.

V and MP have said no. That makes 51 no votes.

V and MP said no on 13 October, when Andersson handed in her exploratory mandate. That is 29 + 22 no votes.

Mohamed Ali (V) is on sick leave and will not attend, so V has 29 no votes.

L and C have also said no. That makes 95 announced no votes.

Simona Mohamsson wrote "rösta rött" (vote red) on X. L has 19 seats.

On the morning of 15 October Elisabeth Thand Ringqvist said C will vote no, because there is no political programme anchored in the centre. C has 25 seats.

95 had said no before the vote. With M, KD and SD, the expectation was 249 no votes.

M, KD and SD promised before the election to vote no, in a joint pledge with L. They did not repeat it on 13 October, so before the vote they counted as expected no votes, not announced ones.
