Machine-readable data - members, ministers, key figures, feeds and the election result - is compared figure by figure. Anything read out of an authority's own text, such as the name of a municipal board chair, is never rewritten by the nightly check. It is flagged for review.

Such data is changed after the source has been read, by a person or by a scheduled AI task that runs every weekday. The AI task may change content and data files with a source for every changed fact, and publishes without a human reviewing the change first. The government formation box is kept up to date this way. How the automated fact check works

If a source does not answer, the page keeps the last confirmed figure and states that it may be out of date, with a link to the source. Nothing is hidden and nothing is guessed.
