Policy tracker
Every party has its own policy areas, quoted word for word from the party's own website. Here you also see the party's position in parliament and how far parliament has got with the motions, interpellations and questions the party itself has filed in that area.
No authority measures how far an election promise has come. Such a measure would be our judgement, and Maktkartan does not judge. The bars instead follow parliament's own path for the items the party itself filed: filed, with a committee, decided in the chamber - and where the chamber has decided, the chamber's own word, approved or rejected.
Everything comes from parliament's open data - the document register, each item's committee stage and decision, and the chamber's speeches - plus the parties' own pages. Nothing is summarised, interpreted or ranked.
